I got married in SC, however, the law is you have to be legally seperated for 1 year before divorcing. Could I temp move to Vegas and file for divorce there to avoid the 1 year seperation?

I am stationed in New Mexico currently, but have not been there the 6 MO residency requirement. Can I file for divorce in my home state of Washington?

My new marriage is nothing but a nitemare!
