Can I file for divorce in Vegas?
I got married in SC, however, the law is you have to be legally seperated for 1 year before divorcing. Could I temp move to Vegas and file for divorce there to avoid the 1 year seperation?
Haha Thanks… But he wouldn’t be heartbroken. He’s mean and ignores me. I’m sure he’d get over it real quickly

Only if you and he are legal residents of the state, for a certain time period, usually a year. Other than that states will normally have respect for the laws of the other state. However, you are talking about Vegas, so who knows what they do.
By the way, I am sure he will be heartbroken, you are gorgeous.

Pretty sure Most states require you to live there for at least a year. Try calling there and Ask someone (like one of those Love Chapels – they should know!! ) Good Luck !!!

I think you have to become a resident first. What is that? 60 or 90 days? But then yes, you should beable to file. Why not go to Mexico. Get it in les than a week or couple days?
