I want to know how hard is it to get a divorce when you got married in las vegas and live in san diego?

after getting married in LAS VEGAS came back to san diego where we lived. then after 8 mo. she told me told me to leave. and after 23 years havent seen her or heard of her sence. dont know where she lives either.

    I guess they did not tell you. But the law in Vegas is that if you get married in Vegas you must get divorced in Australia and you have to do it in person. and it takes about 4 months. And you must stay in Australia for the entire 4 months.

    You file for a divorce wherever you live. Then, if you do not know where to serve her notice, you file notice by publication in a newspaper in the town where you know her to have resided most recently. I don’t remember how many times it is you have to post it, but if there is no answer, you can get the divorce without her signature or without even knowing where she is.

    You may already be divorced. It doesn’t matter where you go married you file for divorce where you live. You might have someone search to find out if a divorce was granted years ago without your knowledge. I doubt she lived as a single woman for all these years.
